Strathclyde Business School UK 2023 Stephen Young Global Leaders’ Scholarship

The Stephen Young Global Leaders’ Scholarship Programme (SYGL) seeks to honour Professor Stephen Young, a former Head of the Department of Marketing and Dr Huang’s supervisor and mentor during his PhD studies. In his memory, the Charles Huang Foundation donation will fund up to five scholarship awards each year for scholars of exceptional merit undertaking the Strathclyde MBA on a full-time study basis (one year) in Glasgow. SYGL seeks to develop global leaders and talent in society and business. Alongside your MBA studies, each scholar will also undertake an associated Leadership Track via the Stephen Young Institute for International Business (SYIIB) and be part of the wider SYIIB community.

Successful candidates will achieve a full fee scholarship to the Strathclyde MBA as well as a generous stipend to cover living costs during studies.

Requirements for Strathclyde Business School Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Before applying to the Stephen Young Global Leaders' Scholarship Programme, you must first meet the admissions criteria for the Strathclyde full-time MBA programme, hold a current offer on this programme for your chosen year of study, and accept this offer.
• In order to be considered for the Stephen Young Global Leaders' Scholarship Programme, you must be able to demonstrate exceptional academic merit. A first-class undergraduate degree from a UK university, for example, or an equivalent academic qualification from a comparable non-UK institution.
• You must be a self-funded student with no other sources of funding, such as corporate sponsorship or alternative scholarship funding.
• If your application is successful, you will be invited to a formal interview (either in person or virtually)
