Students selected for the Mechanical Engineering Internship will have the opportunity to experience TE Connectivity’s Automotive Business Unit. This unique opportunity is specifically designed for Juniors May 2026 graduates at our partner HBCUs/PBIs. The Mechanical Engineering Internship is a 10-12 week internship, beginning mid-May and concluding the first week of August in Greensboro, NC.

Aim and Benefits of TMCF TE Connectivity Mechanical Engineering Internship-Greensboro

 As an Intern in the Automotive Business Unit, you will:

  • Gain hands on experience in a high-volume production facility 
  • Use engineering theory and prototyping skills to improve a real-world issue 
  • Work on a dynamic team to improve cost of poor quality, equipment efficiency, and plant financials 

Compensation will be up to $18-28 based on experience & qualifications

Requirements for TMCF TE Connectivity Mechanical Engineering Internship-Greensboro Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Juniors May 2026 graduates
  • Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
  • Are currently enrolled at a TMCF member school pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Authorized to work in the U.S./U.S Citizens only
  • MUST have a TMCF-formatted resume
  • (Preferred) Have previous internship or large project experience

Responsibilities

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:

  • Brainstorm, design, and implement projects to improve quality and efficiencies. 

  • Data analysis/optimization to improve database accuracy to reflect operations.

  • Work with production to implement improvements?.
