The AI Colony Academy Genesis Cohort 2026

The AI Colony Academy is an 8-week, cohort-based programme where you learn by doing.

For the Genesis Cohort, you can choose from four courses:

• AI for Product Management
• AI Automation
• AI for Software Engineering
• AI for Marketing

Each course has 16 sessions, with live sessions twice a week and pre-recorded learning materials to support you along the way. You'll work on practical projects and earn a certificate once you meet the completion requirements.

The Genesis Cohort is offered as a fully funded scholarship. No tuition. No hidden course fees.

Requirements for The AI Colony Academy Genesis Cohort 2026 Training Qualification

• Age: You must be 18 years or older.
• Location: You must be living in Africa.
• Device: You should have access to a laptop or desktop, either personally or through reliable access.
• Internet: You need consistent internet access.
• Commitment: You must be able to commit to the 8-week programme, including 2 live sessions per week, each about 1 to 1.5 hours.
• Completion: You must be willing to complete the course and final project/artefact if selected.

Interview date, Process and Venue for The AI Colony Academy Genesis Cohort 2026 Training

• Eligibility: Do they meet the basic requirements for the programme?
• Motivation: Why do they want to take the course, and why is it important to them?
• Demonstrated Capacity: What have they already shown they can do? This can come through their experience, projects, work, studies or submitted links.
• Course Fit: Does the course they chose make sense for their goals and the problem they want AI to help them solve?
• Commitment: Can they realistically commit to the 8 weeks, attend the live sessions and complete their course artefact?

Documents Required for Application

There are no separate documents required for the TACA Genesis Cohort application.

You'll need to provide:

• Your personal information
• Your professional/academic background
• Your chosen course
• Your answers to the motivation questions
• A project artefact or link to your work if you have one
• Your LinkedIn, X, portfolio or website links if available

The LinkedIn, X and portfolio links are optional.

So, you don't need to upload a CV, certificate, ID or any other document to submit the application.
