The University of Leicester UK Midlands4Cities Open Doctoral Awards for Students 2023

Archaeology and Ancient History School of Criminology English Geography History History of Art and Film Leicester Law School Media and Communication Modern Languages Museum Studies Politics and International Relations. 

The AHRC-funded Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M4C) brings together eight leading universities across the Midlands to support the professional and personal development of the next generation of arts and humanities doctoral researchers. M4C is a collaboration between the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, University of Warwick, Coventry University, University of Leicester, De Montfort University, Nottingham Trent University and The University of Nottingham.

Through the Open Doctoral and Collaborative Doctoral Awards Midlands4Cities will fund and support outstanding research for 109 doctoral researchers across the breadth of Arts and Humanities starting in late September 2023.

Aim and Benefits of The University of Leicester PhD Scholarship

All successful applicants of Midlands4Cities Open Doctoral Awards for Students 2023 will receive the following from the University of Leicester:

  • Domestic Students: Full tuition fee
  • International Applicants: tuition fees for UK rate and living costs

Requirements for The University of Leicester PhD Scholarship Qualification

  • Applicants of Midlands4Cities Open Doctoral Awards for Students 2023 must have an offer letter for a Ph.D. program in Criminology, English, Geography, History, History of Art and Film, Law, Media, and Communication, Modern Languages, Museum Studies, Archaeology, and Ancient History to avail this scholarship.
  • Students applying for Midlands4Cities Open Doctoral Awards for Students 2023 can be both domestic or international students.
  • Candidates applying for Midlands4Cities Open Doctoral Awards for Students 2023 must surpass the admission requirements set by the university.
