Responsibilities: Product Manager Intern

The Opportunity

At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. As an Intern in the Industrial & Commercial Transportation Business Unit, you will:

    1. Learn Product Management through day-to-day work in this area
    2. Research products and markets – conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking
    3. Support powerful product launches with an emphasis on Marketing activities
    4. Support achievement of revenue and margin targets
    5. Strengthen a product portfolio’s digital presence

Aim and Benefits of TMCF TE Connectivity Product Management Internship-Middletown

Students selected for the Product Management Internship will have the opportunity to experience TE Connectivity’s Industrial & Commercial Transportation Business Unit.

This unique opportunity is specifically designed for Juniors May 2026 graduates at our partner HBCUs/PBIs. The Product Management Internship is a 10-12 week internship, beginning mid-May and concluding the first week of August in Middletown, PA.

All students must have a TMCF-formatted resume to be considered for this opportunity!

Compensation

$18-28 based on experience & qualifications

Requirements for TMCF TE Connectivity Product Management Internship-Middletown Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Juniors May 2026 graduates
  • Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
  • Are currently enrolled at a TMCF member school pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Business Administration
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S./U.S Citizens only
  • MUST have a TMCF-formatted resume
  • (Preferred) Have previous internship or large project experience

Responsibilities

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:

  • Develop RFPs/RFQs and obtain bids or information from vendors and evaluate the proposals/quotes.
  • Identifies, evaluates, approves, and qualifies vendors who are reliable and can meet the requirements, standards, and specifications set by TE.
  • Conducts competitive bidding, negotiation, and contracting processing; identifies technical specifications, understands parts & commodities; brings in continuous improvements; collaborates manufacturing product management, quality, and other functions. 
  • Negotiates contracts with shortlisted/selected suppliers to develop mutually acceptable contractual agreements, ensuring that all procurement activities comply with TE procurement policies and external regulations. 
  • Needs to track supplier performance and compliance with expectations or as per agreed terms.
  • Analyze and evaluate external price trends and commodity costs to reduce cost by alternative sourcing, ensuring long-term agreements, securing discounts for volume purchases, recommending cost-saving proposals, and making v/s buy decisions.
