TU Graz OGG Scholarships 2026

The ÖGG was founded as the national society of the ISRM (International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering) in 1968. The ÖGG actively promotes scientific research on the subsoil and its behaviour, as well as supports interactions with related institutions. A special emphasis is placed on encouraging all persons, institutions and authorities engaged in civil engineering to exchange their experiences with one another, as well as to promote improvements in construction and design methods. ÖGG publishes regulations and guidelines as well as the journal "Geomechanics and Tunneling" and further organises the annual Geomechanics Colloquium in Salzburg.

• Elaboration of the Master's thesis in the field of Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering
• Preferred regions: Africa, Asia, South America
