UAEU 2023 Chancellor’s Fellowship for Graduate Students at UAEU

United Arab Emirate University UAEU is pleased to offer its Chancellor’s Fellowship for Graduate Students for 2023 – 2024 academic session. UAEU offers a diverse set of graduate degree programs at the Master’s and doctorate levels of different orientations: professional and research-based.

The purpose of the Chancellor ‘s Fellowship is to attract excellent students by providing them financial assistance in their pursuit of higher education. Chancellor’ s Fellowship depends on the availability of budget and is primarily provided to students in STEM and strategic areas of the country (renewable energy, transportation, health, water resources, technology, space).

This Fellowship award does not apply to Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Professional Accounting (MPA).

Chancellor’s Fellowship for Graduate Students (Master and Doctoral) is divided into six main categories as follows:

Aim and Benefits of UAEU Chancellor’s Fellowship

Merit Fellowship Award: 

• Benefits - 50% discount on tuition fees.
• Duration - Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions.

UAEU Staff and Families Fellowship Award: 

Benefits:

1. National UAEU Staff: 30% discount on tuition fees.
2. International UAEU Staff: 25% discount on tuition fees.
3. Spouse and Children of UAEU Employees: 20% discount on tuition fees.

Duration:Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions. 

National students Fellowship Award: 

• Benefits - 20% discount on tuition fees.
• Duration - Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions.

Merit Fellowship Award for existing students: 

• Benefits - 50% discount on tuition fees.
• Duration - Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions.

Entrepreneurs Fellowship Award: 

• Benefits - 50% discount on tuition fees (or equivalent monthly stipend if tuition fees are already waived).  
• Duration - Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions. 

Inventors Fellowship Award: 

• Benefits - 50% discount on tuition fees (or equivalent monthly stipend if tuition fees are already waived).  
• Duration - Valid until graduation as long as the student is abiding with the Student Eligibility conditions. 

In case the student fails to fulfill the above conditions, the fellowship will be suspended, and he/she shall be entitled to receive that fellowship again if the reasons are removed. 

Requirements for UAEU Chancellor’s Fellowship Qualification

To be eligible for UAEU Chancellor’s Fellowship for Graduate Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

• Applicants must be international students
• Applicants must be graduate student (Master and Doctoral)
• Have Excellent Academic Standing (GPA ≥ 3.8/4.0)
• Maintain a GPA ≥3.8/4.0 during study at UAEU
• Have no other financial sponsorship or award.
