The UdeM exemption scholarship program is designed to support international candidates in their university studies. Since the fall of 2020, it is possible to benefit from an exemption from the tuition fees normally charged to international students.
The goal of this program is to help the best talent from all countries attend one of the finest francophone research universities in the world. In turn, these international students will help fulfil our educational mission by enriching the cultural diversity of the Université de Montréal community.
Also called UdeM, the University of Montreal is a non-private research institution of higher education in the Québec province of Canada. The University was founded in 1878 founded, with three faculties: theology, law and medicine. Earlier University of Montreal was situated in Montreal's Quartier Latin but later in 1942, it moved to Mount Royal. It got the status of a secular establishment in the year 1967.
