About Union for the Mediterranean (UfM)

Launched in 2008, the Union for the Mediterranean is an intergovernmental Euro-Mediterranean organisation which brings together all countries of the European Union and 16 countries of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean. Internships

Aim and Benefits of Internships

• Interns receive a monthly allowance of 550€
• Interns who were not residing in Barcelona area prior to the start of the internship will be eligible for an additional housing allowance (550€).  

Requirements for Internships Qualification

• Under 30 years of age.
• Be a national of any UfM Members States
• Students enrolled in a degree or post-secondary education programme at the time of application and during the internship, having completed at least one year of full-time studies.
• Good command of English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Arabic is an asset.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Internships

The internship duration is 6 months. Please note that we divide our internship Programme in two periods (check call for expression of interest for internships)
