UniSQ International Excellence Scholarship 2027

In 2027, University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) will offer International Excellence Scholarships. 

The scholarship is designed to reward and support high-achieving international students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and English language proficiency, and who are commencing their studies at UniSQ in the 2027 teaching year.

UniSQ International Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of UniSQ International Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

• Each scholarship will provide a 15% reduction on tuition fees, applied directly to the recipient's tuition fees for the duration of their degree as outlined in their offer letter.

Requirements for UniSQ International Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be considered, prospective international students must: 

• receive an offer for an eligible UniSQ award degree commencing in the 2027 teaching year
• meet UniSQ's academic entry and English language requirements for the degree 
• achieve the following excellence criteria:
  • For international students with Australian secondary qualifications:
    • ATAR of 90 or above; and
    • English (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent
  • For all other international students:
    • minimum 90% academic average in prior studies (Grade 12 for undergraduate entry, or prior undergraduate degree for postgraduate entry); and
    • IELTS overall 7.0, with no sub-score below 6.5 (for scholarship assessment purposes). 

*For international students where a percentage average is not applicable, an equivalence will be assessed by the admissions team.

Interview date, Process and Venue for UniSQ International Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

• The International Admissions team will assess eligibility automatically at the time of application.
• No separate scholarship application or nomination is required.
• There are no additional selection criteria beyond the eligibility requirements.
• All eligible applicants who meet the academic and English language excellence criteria will automatically be offered the scholarship.

How to Apply

There is no application process for this scholarship. 

To be considered, prospective international students must: 

• submit their application to UniSQ for an eligible award degree commencing in the 2027 teaching year 
• meet the academic and English language excellence criteria at the time of application.

Eligible students will be automatically assessed and offered the scholarship by the International Admissions team as part of the admissions process.
