Each year, University College Dublin offers a number of Global Excellence Scholarships for international students (on non-EU fees) starting their courses (Bachelor's and Master's) in September.

Aim and Benefits of University College Dublin Masters Scholarship

• 100% and 50% tuition fee scholarships.

Requirements for University College Dublin Masters Scholarship Qualification

• The scholarship is only available to applicants entering a new programme at UCD.  

Interview date, Process and Venue for University College Dublin Masters Scholarship

• Recipients will be selected by a committee comprising of staff from each UCD’s six Colleges, supported by UCD Global.
• Scholarship applications will be considered on academic merit, paired with a holistic review of the applicant’s response to the scholarship application questions. These questions explore an applicant’s motivations for studying at UCD, alignment with UCD’s values, experience and achievements, contributions to equality, diversity and inclusions, and their potential to act as an Ambassador for UCD.

Application Deadline

How to Apply

1. To apply for a Global Excellence Scholarship click HERE or visit the link below: https://hub.ucd.ie/usis/W_HU_MENU.InfoHubMenu
2. Select ‘Log in with UCD Connect’ as shown below, and enter your 8 digit ID number and password, the same details used to log in to the portal where you submitted your application to your UCD programme of study.
3. Once you have logged in, select ‘Applications’ at the top of the page.
4. Under Applications – Click ‘Scholarship Applications’.
5. Select the Scholarship you would like to apply for.
6. Answer the ‘General Questions’ & submit before 11.59pm Irish time on the application deadline.
