University of Aberdeen 2023 Data Lab Scholarship (MSc Artificial Intelligence), UK

The School of Natural and Computing Science, in association with The Data Lab, is offering 2 scholarships to help cover the cost of tuition for Scotland-based* students commencing the MSc Artificial Intelligence programme in September 2023.

MSc Artificial Intelligence

The University of Aberdeen has over 30 years’ experience, and a world-wide reputation in AI-related research, focusing on areas such as machine learning, data science, natural language generation, and multi-agent systems.

This programme covers the theoretical underpinning of these subjects as well as the technology used to apply the underlying theories of AI to real-world problems. Students also learn how to engineer and evaluate AI systems.

Our close industry links mean you will have opportunities to apply your skills through training and networking events and industrial placements organised through organisations such as the Data Lab, Intel AI Academy, IBM, Intelligent Plant, and Aberdeen City Council.

Requirements for University of Aberdeen Data Lab Scholarship Qualification

*The scholarships are open to applicants who

• have accepted an offer of admission (conditional or other) to the MSc Artificial Intelligence (full time) programme commencing in September 2023, and
• are classified by the University as 'Home' students for tuition fee purposes, and
• who meet the Scottish Government’s Residency conditions. Please refer to this SAAS.gov.uk guidance for clarification. EU students with settled or pre-settled status may be eligible.

 

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Aberdeen Data Lab Scholarship

The Data Lab MSc Artificial Intelligence Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. Successful applicants will be expected to present an Upper Second Class honours degree or above.

Please note, this scholarship is only available for Aberdeen campus students.
