The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce the Bangladesh Postgraduate Chancellor's Scholarship award of £10,000 for select Bangladesh students applying for entry to a postgraduate taught programme at the University starting September 2025.
These are joint awards with our local representatives who will be invited to send nominations of the students to the university based on their academic scores.
The scholarships will be awarded to the highest performing students starting their University of Birmingham programme in the 2025/2026 academic year.

The scholarship is 6 x £10,000 towards tuition fees of a full-time postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Birmingham UK campus, starting September 2025.

The scholarship is open for a limited period and early programme application is recommended to ensure eligibility for consideration and to maximise the chances of success.
To apply for the scholarship students will need to have accepted an offer from the University of Birmingham, have selected Birmingham as their firm choice. Be registered with, and have their postgraduate taught study application attached to, one of our local representatives listed below.
Only under exceptional circumstances in which the University is unable to choose an awardee based solely on academic merit (for instance, if two candidates have identical grades) will applicants be asked to attend an online interview.
Decisions will be announced in July/ early August and the scholarships will be awarded upon the students’ enrolment in September 2025.
