University of Bradford Postgraduate Bursary 2026/27

The University of Bradford is delighted to be able to offer a Postgraduate Bursary that gives ambitious graduates a meaningful boost as they step into master’s level study. This cash award is designed for students who previously received full maintenance support and are now ready to advance their skills, easing financial pressure so you can focus fully on your academic and career goals. Open to UK and eligible EU graduates who are self funding their postgraduate degree, the bursary reflects the university’s commitment to widening opportunity and supporting talent.

Aim and Benefits of University of Bradford Postgraduate Scholarship

• £500 - to be paid on receipt of a valid application

Requirements for University of Bradford Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible you must:

• Be from the UK or EU (if you are from the EU you must have done your degree in England to qualify).
• Be on a full-time taught Master's or research postgraduate programme and paying your own fees.
• Have graduated from your undergraduate degree programme within the last 10 years.
• In order to apply for this award you must have received a full maintenance grant from your Local Authority or the Student Loans Company in your final year of undergraduate study.
• Alternatively, for students who commenced their studies from September 2015 onwards you must have received a full means tested maintenance loan from the Student Loans Company   
• Bursaries will be paid upon receipt of a valid application.

• If you are on a research programme you can receive a maximum of three bursary payments.
