University of British Columbia 2021 Four Year Doctoral Fellowship

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is pleased to announce their Four Year Doctoral Fellowship (4YF) which will ensure that UBC’s best PhD, DMA, and MDPhD students are provided with financial support of at least $18,200 per year plus tuition for up to four years of their doctoral studies.

The Four Year Doctoral Fellowship program allows the university to attract and support excellent domestic and international doctoral students who have enrolled to pursue their studies and carry out their research. Selection is based on academic excellence, upon the recommendation of the graduate program.

Requirements for Four Year Doctoral Fellowship Qualification

To be considered for the Four Year Doctoral Fellowship (4YF) at the University of British Columbia, applicants must ensure that they meet the following criteria:

• Four Year Fellowships may be held by domestic and international students enrolled in a full-time PhD, DMA, or MDPhD studies at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
• Applicants must have obtained relevant bachelor and master’s degree from recognized universities around the world.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership and academic potentials and must be willing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the conducts of students at the university.

How to Apply

To be considered for Four Year Fellowship funding, students are to submit application for admission to the appropriate graduate program at UBC. Information about the admission procedures and requirements are to be gotten from the Application & Admission page. All PhD, DMA, and MDPhD applicants offered admission are automatically considered for 4YF funding.
