PhD Fellowship In Crop Physiology by Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science (PLEN) at University of Copenhagen will commence from 1st  July 2021. the successful applicant will work on a discourse based on Crop Stress Physiology group at section of Crop Sciences. The fellowship provides a dynamic opportunity in international research and tecahing environment. The target focus of the discourse is on the physiological and biochemical regulation of growth and functioning of crop plants subjected to major abiotic stresses. Adding on this PhD project is a part of the international project " Dissecting climate robustness for sustainable wheat production (SUSWHEAT)' funded by the Independent tresearch Fund Denmark.

Aim and Benefits of PhD Scholarship

The University of Copehagen offers a minimum salary of DKK 331,125 (€43,750), including annual supplement (+ pension at a minimum DKK 53,811). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.

Requirements for PhD Scholarship Qualification

  • The oppotunity is open to all nationalities
  • The applicant must hold an MSc or an equivalent academic degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, metabolomics, plant an dyeast genetics, or in cell organelle and enzyme isolation.
  • The applicant are required to take admission in a Phd degree at the University of Copenhagen.
  • The candidates must demonstate proficiency in oral and written english communication skills by submitting either of the following scores of IELTS/TOEFL.
