University of Edinburgh PhD Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of University of Edinburgh PhD Scholarship
- Full tuition fees with an annual stipend for 3 years and a Research Training Support Grant. The stipend will be set to the UKRI level for 2026/2027. The UKRI level for 2025/2026 is currently £20,780 for full-time students, or the pro rata equivalent for part-time students.
Requirements for University of Edinburgh PhD Scholarship Qualification
- One PhD is available for Home fee-status applicants to the PhD Linguistics & English Language within the School of School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences. Applicants should be working on a topic in the field of English Language.
- One further PhD award is available to Home fee-status applicants to the PhD English Literature within the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures.
- To check whether you qualify for Home fee status, please visit the information here. Students with international fee status are not eligible to apply.
