The Sports Excellence Scholarship is aimed at high performing student athletes who wish to combine high performance sport alongside undergraduate or postgraduate taught study at the University of Gloucestershire. This is applied as a tuition fee waiver designed to reward sporting excellence. The Scholarships are open only to international fee-paying students.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate they are performing at the required level in the performance sport.

University of Gloucestershire Undergraduate Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of University of Gloucestershire Undergraduate Scholarship
- The value of the scholarship will be £7,500 (spread over the 3 years) for Undergraduate students and £5,000 for Postgraduate students.
Requirements for University of Gloucestershire Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
- This is for new, self-funded international tuition fee-paying students studying full-time.
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students must be studying on-campus.
- The scholarship is applicable to any undergraduate and postgraduate taught course starting in September 2026, studied for a minimum of 2 semesters.
Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Gloucestershire Undergraduate Scholarship
- The scholarship award will be decided by an awarding committee. All decisions of the awarding committee are final.
- Candidates will be notified of the outcome by 9th June 2026.
