The aim is to enable international students who have fallen into financial hardship through no fault of their own to concentrate on their studies and graduation. Short-term scholarships with mentoring support are intended to improve the support provided to international students by having scholarship recipients take on mentoring responsibilities in consultation with the International Office.

• Approximately 1,000 euros

Requirements for University of Hohenheim STIBET Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Foreign students who are enrolled in a regular Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Hohenheim and are already working on their Bachelor's or Master's thesis.

The following are required:

• good academic performance
• financial need/emergency
• Social and university political engagement is desirable.

Documents Required for Application

• A letter of motivation including details of your previous studies and information about previous funding or financing of your studies through work, student assistant activities, etc.
• Curriculum vitae including a description of previous studies
• Transcript of records and, if applicable, proof of registration of the final thesis
• A letter of recommendation from the student's thesis supervisor. The letter should include a scale indicating the student's progress and the expected completion date.
