The University of Hull is offering scholarships for students beginning a full-time, postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2024.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals focus on a variety of challenges that our global community faces and these Goals are embedded across our subject areas. Our Global Achievers Scholarship is designed for postgraduate students who want to join us in our mission for environmental sustainability and social justice.

The University of Hull was founded in 1927 – originally as University College Hull. The foundation stone was laid the following year by the Duke of York (later King George VI, of The King's Speech fame) and we opened for business with 39 students and 14 ‘one-man’ departments. Aim and Benefits of University of Hull Global Achievers Scholarship

Successful applicants in each of the categories listed below will receive an award of £2,000 (GBP) in the form of a tuition fee reduction.

  • 2x Indonesian students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 4x Vietnamese students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 2x Thai students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 2x Pakistani students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 2x Egyptian students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 2x Kenyan students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 2x Moroccan students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme
  • 10x Latin American students studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme

Requirements for University of Hull Global Achievers Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible for a University of Hull – Global Achievers Scholarship 2024 - all applicants must:

  • Be a national and hold a passport from one of the respective countries included within this scholarship.
  • Have received an offer of study for a postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Hull.
  • Have achieved, or be working towards, the academic and English language entry requirements for the postgraduate course applied to.
  • Have completed a University of Hull – Global Achievers Scholarship 2024 application form.
