University of Laval 2021-2022 Citizens of the World Scholarship for International Students

This new program aims to attract the world’s top talent with international student scholarships, and to support Université Laval students with mobility scholarships to help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

The Citizens of the World Excellence scholarship is intended for international students who have submitted a new application for admission for the summer 2021, fall 2021 or winter 2022 semester. The objective of this scholarship is to promote academic excellence.

The Citizens of the World Commitment scholarship is intended for international students who have submitted a new application for admission for the Summer 2021 or Fall 2021 semester in a regular master’s or PhD program at Université Laval.

Scholarships vary between $10,000 and $15,000 (two payments)

Requirements for University of Laval Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• When submitting the application, have submitted a new application for admission to a regular graduate program at Laval University for the summer 2021 or fall 2021 session  .
• Be exceptionally involved in one or more fields of activity.
• Maintain a full-time (or “ deemed full-time  ”) student status at Université Laval throughout the study program for which the scholarship was awarded (fall and winter sessions) .

University of Laval Postgraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of University of Laval Postgraduate Scholarship

• Research master’s programs with thesis: Total value of $20,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to four semesters)
• PhD: Total value of $30,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to six semesters)

Requirements for University of Laval Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

• When submitting the application, have submitted a new application for admission to a regular doctoral program (master's or doctorate) at Laval University for the summer 2021 or fall 2021 session  .
• Be exceptionally involved in one or more fields of activity.
• Maintain a full-time (or “ deemed full-time  ”) student status at Université Laval throughout the study program for which the scholarship was awarded (fall and winter sessions) .
