University of Macau 2023 Fully-Funded International Students Scholarships, China

The University of Macau (UM) is currently inviting applications from applicants with high academic achievement for its international postgraduate scholarships. International applicants of full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes of UM who meet the admission requirements of the respective degree programme are invited to apply.

International Student Scholarship aims to attract more international students to pursue their study at the University of Macau (UM). The scholarship is available for Bachelor and Master Students.

Aim and Benefits of University of Macau International Students Scholarships

 Scholarship Package (for Bachelor)

• Waiver of:
  • Tuition fee;
  • Residential College fee (shared bedroom);
  • Honours College certificate programme fee (if applicable); and
  • Minor programme fee (if applicable).
• The maximum term of the Scholarship is the normal study period of the admitted programme, which is 4 or 5 years

Scholarship Package (for Master)

• Waiver of:
  • Tuition fee; and
  • Postgraduate House (twin room) fee
• The maximum term of the Scholarship is the normal study period of the admitted programme, which is 2 or 3 years

Requirements for University of Macau International Students Scholarships Qualification

• International applicants of full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes (excluding executive degree programmes) of UM who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the Scholarship:
  • valid foreign passport holders; and
  • fulfill admission requirements of the respective degree programme.

• Candidates applied and admitted through Joint Admission Examination for Macao Four Higher  Education Institutions will not be considered for the Scholarship.

Interested and qualified? Go to University of Macau on gao.um.edu.mo to apply

Eligible applicants will receive a “call-for-application” email upon completion of application for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme. The applicant will need to submit the Scholarship application online via the link specified in the email.

*Before completing and submitting application for the Scholarship, applicants are also required to read through the Rules for International Student Scholarship
