The University of Manchester, in its present form, was created in 2004 by the amalgamation of the Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). After 100 hundred years of working closely together both institutions agreed to form a single university, and on 22 October 2004 they officially combined to form the largest single-site university in the UK. The scholarship offering a 10% reduction in fees
All home and overseas applicants holding an offer for an MA Education for a Sustainable Environment by distance learning are eligible. Candidates must apply and register as distance learning students in order to be considered for this scholarship.
There are 30 awards offering a 10% reduction in fees. Selection decisions are made on merit rather than financial need and the candidate's potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the master's programme, including the diverse academic and cultural profile of the master's class.
There is no bursary application process. If you are eligible you will be considered automatically .
