Requirements for Undergraduate Freshman Scholarships Qualification
- High school seniors graduating in 2025.
- Students must be fully admitted to Southern Miss as full-time freshmen for the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.
- Applicants must submit a completed FAFSA for most scholarships.
- Students classified as readmitted or transfer students are not eligible for freshman scholarships.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Undergraduate Freshman Scholarships
Selection is based on:
- Cumulative high school GPA (calculated on a 4-point scale).
- Standardized test scores (ACT or SAT) are taken through the senior year.
- Honors College admission consideration is based on these same criteria.
