University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships for International Students 2024

The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the University of Otago.The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship provides funding to support doctoral students studying at the University of Otago.

The Scholarship is available to both domestic and international students.The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship provides funding to support doctoral students studying at the University of Otago.The Scholarship is available to both domestic and international students.  Candidates for professional doctorates, as well as the PhD, are welcome to apply.

Aim and Benefits of Doctoral Scholarships

• The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships will provide NZ$ 28,600 stipend per annum plus a domestic tuition fees waiver for 36 months (excludes student services fee and insurance).
• Professional Doctorates (DClinDent, DMA, DBA, EDd)–NZ$28,600 stipend per annum plus a tuition fee waiver for up to 36 months capped at the domestic rate (excludes student services fee and insurance).

Requirements for Doctoral Scholarships Qualification

Applicants must usually be:

• Seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification.
• Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree by papers and thesis.
• Scholarship is open for Domestic and international candidates.
