The University of Otago International Academic Excellence Scholarship supports international students coming from overseas with high achieving academic backgrounds to study at the University of Otago.

University of Otago International Academic Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of University of Otago International Academic Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

• Accommodation fees in a Residential College (around $19,000) in First Year.
• $7,000 towards tuition fees in Second and Third Year (subject to conditions) ~ $35,000

Requirements for University of Otago International Academic Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Application for all International Entrance Scholarships are normally open to students who have completed secondary (high) school, or at another approved institution that grants University Entrance overseas (outside of New Zealand).
  And
• Are intending to enrol or have enrolled in full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago.

In addition to the above eligibility criteria, applicants must be:

• Intending to study at the University of Otago from 100-level (first year) through to degree* attainment;
• Studying on campus throughout the duration of their studies.

*Please note that diploma and certificate programmes are not classified as degree programmes and are ineligible to receive this scholarship.
