This scholarship celebrates and welcomes international students to the University of Otago as valued members of the University community, and is awarded to students coming to study through one of our articulation partner agreements.

University of Otago International Partnership Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of University of Otago International Partnership Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship

• The value of the scholarship is $10,000 with a one-year tenure.

Requirements for University of Otago International Partnership Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Application for all International Entrance Scholarships are normally open to students who have completed secondary (high) school, or at another approved institution that grants University Entrance overseas (outside of New Zealand).

And

• Are intending to enrol or have enrolled in full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago.

In addition to the above eligibility criteria, applicants must be:

• Intending to undertake a minimum of four semesters at the University of Otago.
• Studying on campus throughout the duration of their studies;
• Applying to study at the University of Otago through one of our approved articulation partner agreements.

Selection of recipients will be based upon consideration of the following factors:

• Academic potential, based upon previous results from a partner institution.

How to Apply

• Every eligible applicant must agree in their application for study, through the student management system (eVision), that they would like to be considered for international scholarships at the University of Otago.
