University of Portsmouth Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship 2026

For May 2026 entry, eligible applicants will be considered for the Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship. This scholarship will take the form of a £5,000 fee reduction that will apply to your first year of study.

Requirements for University of Portsmouth Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a self-funded international student.
• Only applicants who have been assessed as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes can access this scholarship.
• To be considered, applicants will also need to complete the Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship application form as part of their application.
• Applications will then be considered by the University's scholarship panel and the successful candidates will be contacted by email to confirm their status shortly after the submission.

1. Apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
2. To be considered, applicants will also need to complete the Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship application form as part of their application.
