- Tuition fees
- Living stipend of $37,500 per annum tax free (2026 rate), indexed annually
- Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
Requirements for University of Queensland Graduate Research School Scholarships (UQGRSS) Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification
- Check your eligibility for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy.
- Identify a supervisor in your field with expertise that's relevant to your proposed project. How to choose a supervisor
- Prepare your documentation.
You're eligible if you're:
- nominated by an enrolling school or institute at UQ
- assessed by the Graduate Research School as meeting all conditions for admission to the higher degree by research program.
- not be receiving a living allowance award, or scholarship providing a benefit greater than 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate to undertake the higher degree by research program
