Requirements for International Onshore Merit Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
You're eligible if you:
- are an international student.
- have previously undertaken a qualification in Australia which has been used for admission to your relevant UQ program.
- have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.
And you:
- have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2026 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 170 KB).
- have received an unconditional offer in an eligible program (or have satisfied all the conditions of a conditional offer)
- have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements.
And you have not received:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ.
- a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).
