The University of Queensland will provide tuition fees to highly motivated students.


Requirements for University of Queensland (UQ) Masters Scholarship Qualification

  • evidence of identifying as a member of the LGBTQIA+ communities
  • academic achievement
  • demonstrated financial hardship
  • demonstrated commitment to the LGBTQIA+ communities
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant.
  • identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ communities
  • can demonstrate commitment to the LGBTQIA+ communities
  • can demonstrate financial hardship
  • are enrolled as a full-time student in a program at The University of Queensland at the time you apply
  • have not previously received the bursary.

Interested and qualified? Go to University of Queensland, Australia on scholarships.uq.edu.au to apply

Complete the application form.

You will also need to include supporting documentation that demonstrates your eligibility, such as:

  • references to support commitment to LGBTQIA+ communities
  • most recent Centrelink Allowance Statement (Youth Allowance, ABSTUDY etc)
  • Australian Taxation Office Assessment Notice, for the previous financial year, and/or evidence of income from other sources
  • current academic transcript/studies report, secondary studies results
  • any other evidence you feel supports your application.
