The University of Sheffield is offering a scholarship worth up to £17,500 for the duration of your course to overseas fee-paying students joining the University from the NCUK Sino-British College in September 2026.

Aim and Benefits of University of Sheffield Undergraduate Scholarship

• This is a competitive award applied as a tuition fee discount of £10,000 in the first year of study and £2,500 in each subsequent year subject to meeting progression criteria. 

Requirements for University of Sheffield Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• You must commence your studies of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield in September 2026 from NCUK International Foundation Year or International Year One at Sino-British College  You must choose the University of Sheffield as your firm or insurance choice before 1pm (UK time) on Thursday 30 April 2026.
• You must be currently studying at the NCUK Sino-British College at the point of application.

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Sheffield Undergraduate Scholarship

This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. A panel of senior members of staff will select the strongest applications and will be looking for the following:

• The applicant has a strong academic profile and UCAS statement.
• In their statement, the applicant has given examples of achievements which represent excellence and initiative in educational, voluntary, or extra-curricular areas.
• Applicant has shown how these achievements relate to the course they have applied for at the University of Sheffield and connected that to their future ambitions.

• Details of what to include in your application statement can be found in the selection process section of this webpage.
• The deadline to apply is 1pm (UK time) Thursday 30 April 2026. 
• Enquiries regarding the scholarship application should be sent to [email protected] or [email protected].
• Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by Friday 29 May 2026 and will need to accept the scholarship by 1pm (UK time) on Wednesday 3 June 2026.
