The Department of Language and Communication, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for a postdoctoral research position starting 15 August 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is for 1.5 years. The position is embedded in the externally-funded research project: “How do University College Students Read?: A Cognitive Video-Ethnographic Study”. 

Project Description: This project investigates students’ natural reading practices (in print or digitally) and is methodological and theoretically multidisciplinary. It uses cognitive video-ethnography, interviews, and interaction analysis within a radical embodied ecological framework.

• Applicants must have experience with empirical work and should be able to engage with theories of cognition (and language) within an ecological, embodied framework.
