The  University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) invites academic excellence by awarding Study Abroad scholarships to the best international students in Canada . Each year, the UFV Entrance Scholarship welcomes more than 700 new students from more than 70 countries around the world.

Aim and Benefits of UVF International Excellence Entrance Scholarship

Amount offered per recipient

CAD $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four years)

Requirements for UVF International Excellence Entrance Scholarship Qualification

You are eligible for this scholarship if:

• You apply to study at UFV.
• You are in your graduating year or have recently graduated

• Have a minimum overall CGPA (cumulative GPA) of 3.75 on all approved grade 12 courses
• Apply to a degree program
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for each of your previous years at UFV to maintain the scholarship

Note: Short-term visiting and exchange students are not eligible for entrance scholarships.

Additional information

We award these scholarships in the order that we receive applications (on a first-come, first-served basis). To ensure that you will be considered, you should:

• Apply to your UFV program as soon as possible.
• Pay your application fee.
• Be sure you have completed and submitted your application, including:
  • Proof of English language proficiency.
  • Official high school and/or post-secondary transcripts.

 

Interview date, Process and Venue for UVF International Excellence Entrance Scholarship

You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria. Preference is given to students applying to programs that award bachelor degrees
