University of Twente ITC Faculty Early Bird Programme

ITC is happy to announce the ‘Early Bird’ programme for a limited number of unconditionally admitted candidates.

The ‘Early Bird’ programme is available to

1. Postgraduate Diploma course in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
2. Master’s programme in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
3. Master’s programme in Spatial Engineering

starting in September and able to pay their tuition fees before 1 March.

Aim and Benefits of University of Twente Masters Scholarship

• The ‘early bird’ consists of a tuition fee waiver of 40% per academic year.
• After the dates of the deadline, a committee will make the final selection. The selection results will be announced within 1 week of the deadline. The candidates who will be offered ITC’s Early Bird will be asked to make further arrangements to cover the remaining fees before the payment deadline of 1 March.  

Requirements for University of Twente Masters Scholarship Qualification

• You have been unconditionally admitted into the Master's Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (PGD or MSc) or Spatial Engineering
• Not eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans.
• You comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands
• First-time enrolment at the University of Twente
• The applicant confirms to be in a position to pay the costs of the tuition fee before the payment deadline. Only for MSc: To receive the early bird waiver also for the second academic year, awardees should obtain a minimum of 46 credit points by the end of the first academic year.

How to Apply

• First, you must have applied for the Postgraduate Diploma course or Master’s in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation or the Master’s in Spatial Engineering through the online application system and have received an academic acceptance letter.
• If subsequently, you are interested (and eligible) to apply to ITC’s Early Bird, you will have to submit the completed application form via the 'Apply' button above.
