University of Waikato has initiated Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarships in New Zealand, 2022 for domestic students of Pacific Island descent who are currently studying at NCEA Level 3 towards University Entrance and who intend to enrol full-time (120 points in an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Waikato in 2022.

Aim and Benefits of University of Waikato Bachelors

• The successful applicants of the University of Waikato - Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarships in New Zealand, 2022 will receive an award of NZD 6,000 per year for three years.

Requirements for University of Waikato Bachelors Qualification

• Applicants of the University of Waikato - Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarships in NewZealand, 2022 must be citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand and of Pacific Island descent.
• Students must be applying for an undergraduate program that will commence in the academic year 2022.
• Students must be applying for the first time.
• Candidates applying for University of Waikato - Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarships in NewZealand, 2022 will be selected on the basis of academic achievements, leadership experience and involvement in cultural and community activities.

Documents Required for Application

• A CV in at most 2 A4 pages
• Personal statement
• A principal's assessment addressing the achievement, potential, leadership roles and activities
• A community reference addressing the applicant’s activities and roles in the community.
