University of Waterloo President’s Scholarship of Distinction 2026

Aim and Benefits of University of Waterloo President’s Scholarship of Distinction 2026

Students who are admitted to the University of Waterloo with an early-May admission average of 95% or above will receive the following awards:

• one-time $2,000 University of Waterloo President's Scholarship of Distinction
• the opportunity after your first year for a $1,500 Research Award and a $1,500 International Experience Award

Requirements for University of Waterloo President’s Scholarship of Distinction 2026 Qualification

• early May admission average, including required courses, must be 95% or higher for the program for which you’ve received and accepted an offer of admission
• admitted to a full-time, first-year degree program
• beginning post-secondary studies for the first time
• not applicable at Renison University College or St. Jerome's University, who offer their own scholarships
