The University of Western Australia ('the University') provides the UWA Humanitarian SWANS Scholarship to encourage and assist students from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to engage in tertiary education and undertake an undergraduate degree course at the University.

Requirements for University of Western Australia Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Hold, or have applied for and be eligible to hold a—
  • Temporary Protection Visa (subclass 785) or
  • Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (subclass 790) and
• Be experiencing financial hardship
• Be a school leaver applicant to the University and
• Be enrolled, or eligible to enrol
  • full-time and
  • in an undergraduate degree course.
