Aim and Benefits of University of Westminster Postgraduate Sanctuary Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship

• Full tuition fee waiver and £1000/month for up to 12 months.

Requirements for University of Westminster Postgraduate Sanctuary Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

Students must fulfil all criteria below: 

• You must have an offer from the University of Westminster for a place on a full-time master’s course starting in January 2027
• You must be resident in the UK
• You must hold one of the following eligible immigration statuses before submitting your application 
  • UK asylum seeker 
  • UK discretionary leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application) 
  • UK limited leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application) 
• Students who already have a master’s degree are not eligible to apply
• Students who are able to receive taught postgraduate student loans from Student Finance are not eligible to apply 
• The following categories of students are not eligible: 
  • Postgraduate Diploma 
  • Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX) 
  • Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law) 
  • Integrated Masters/MPhil/
