• Undergraduate - $5,000
• Graduate - $5,000
• Collegiate - $3,500
• Professional, Applied Continuing Education (PACE) - $3,500

Requirements for University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must be an international student.
• Must be a student entering their first program at UWinnipeg.
• Must have the equivalent of a Canadian 80% grade average, based on Grade 12 academic courses used for admission. UWinnipeg International Credential Evaluators will complete grade conversions.
  • PACE applicants will be assessed based on their post-secondary transcripts as applicable.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities.
• Completed an admission application to UWinnipeg by the scholarship deadline.
  • The application for admission is complete only when the admissions office has received all application fees and supporting documentation.
• Must be registered and maintain full-time course load.

• Fall 2026 - June 1, 2026
• Winter 2026/2027 - October 1, 2026

How to Apply

1. Complete an application for admission to The University of Winnipeg.
   • Your UWinnipeg student number will be assigned once you start your application for admission. Only applications with valid student ID number will be reviewed.
2. Complete the web application form.
   • Important! Incomplete admission packages will not be reviewed. Each applicant may only submit one application for the current cycle.
   • These are the required documents you must include with this application. Please make sure they are translated in English if in another language.
     1. Personal Statement
     2. Resumé / C.V.
     3. Two Reference Letters
