Aim and Benefits of University of York Masters Scholarship

• The successful applicants of University of York - Tom And Eileen House Scholarships in UK, 2021/22 will receive:
  • TWO scholarships of GBP 1,000.
  • TWO Scholarships worth GBP 5,000.

Requirements for University of York Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Open to UK (home) students only.
• Open to all departments except Hull York Medical School.
• To be eligible to apply you must:
• hold an offer from York for any department for a full-time taught Masters course.
• be living permanently in the UK.
• Applicants must have been in Local Authority Care or supported by the Foyer Federation.
• Applicants must have been in receipt of the Disabled Students’ Allowance.
• Applicants must have been in receipt of the Maximum Maintenance Loan, or Maximum Maintenance Grant or Special Support Grant.
• Applicants must have been the first in your family to attend higher education (not including siblings) on entry to undergraduate study.
• Applicants must be from a Low Participation Neighbourhood on entry to undergraduate study.
• Applicants must be on a low income.

Documents Required for Application

• A supporting statement is not more than 300 words should be attached stating on how the Tom And Eileen House Scholarships, 2018 would make a difference to their future.
• Supporting documentary evidence with the subject line "House Evidence" should be attached.
