University of York International Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship 2026/27

These scholarships are awarded to international students to support them in achieving their goals at the University of York. The scholarship will award successful undergraduate students up to a £10,000 tuition fee discount.

All undergraduate students holding an offer at York will be automatically considered. There is no need to formally apply for the scholarship.

Aim and Benefits of University of York Undergraduate Scholarship

• £10,000 tuition fee discount.

Requirements for University of York Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Open to International (including EU) students only.

To be eligible for an International Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship, you must

• have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by Wednesday 6 May 2026
• be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by Wednesday 6 May 2026) 
• intend to study a full-time undergraduate course
• have predicted or achieved grades of A Level ABB, International Baccalaureate 34 points or equivalent.

You will not be eligible if

• you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

Students on the following pathways are not eligible for these scholarships

• Hull York Medical School
• International Pathway College
• Distance and online learning courses
• Part-time courses
• Kaplan International College London
• Partnership and exchange students (including visiting students)

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of York Undergraduate Scholarship

• A panel of senior staff from the University will select the successful scholarship awardees.
