Victoria University of Wellington 2025 Murray McNae Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support for a Mana College school leaver intending to study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University to pursue studies in Computer Science or Software Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) or in general Science (Bachelor of Science). While preference will be given to these career paths, consideration may also be given for a degree involving a significant Information Systems component.

Murray McNae Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Murray McNae Scholarship

The scholarship value is $18,000 and will be awarded each year to one student, payments being spread over 3 years.

Requirements for Murray McNae Scholarship Qualification

This scholarship is only available to Mana College leavers for studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Murray McNae Scholarship

• Each student must have attended Mana College for at least one school year in Year 12 or Year 13.
• The selection of the student will be based on both the demonstration of interest and promise in the subject of computer science or general science, and of financial need.
