Victoria University of Wellington Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship 2024

The Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship will be available annually and applications should be made by 15 November or 15 March in the year following, or the year in which the project is planned. All instrumentalists are eligible, though preference may be given to a piano student.

Scholarship worths $15,000

Requirements for Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants must be enrolling or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te K?k? New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington.
• The scholarship can involve the student attending a short course; or attending and/or participating in a concert and/or masterclass in Europe, North America or Australia.
• The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents and international students.

Selection criteria

The applicant must be enrolling or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te K?k? New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington, and remain in good academic standing.

Application process

A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
