Possible Tasks within this Role
- Developing and evaluating scientific methods for analyzing and harmonizing global customer feedback and product data

- Designing AI-based approaches for identifying regional customer preferences, market-specific requirements, and best practices
- Validating AI-generated recommendations against assessments from domain experts across different markets
- Publishing scientific results and transferring research findings into prototype applications and real-world use cases
The final doctoral topic is defined together with the professor. The prerequisite for the cooperation is the confirmation of supervision as well as a confirmed delimitation of topics by the professor of a university or research institution entitled to confer a doctorate.

The gross monthly salary for this position, based on a 35-hour workweek and scaled according to the respective year of employment, is €3,030 (1st year), €3,194 (2nd year), and €3,497 (3rd year). In addition, there is a monthly allowance of €167 as well as a 49% share of the variable bonus.
Requirements for PhD Student AI-driven Global Customer Feedback And Decision-making Platforms (f/m/d) PhD Studentship Qualification
- Good to very good university degree qualifying for doctoral studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Generative AI, Multi-Agent Systems, or related technologies
- Experience in data analytics, statistics, software development, or the design of data-driven systems
- Strong interest in scientific research and the application of advanced AI technologies to real-world challenges
- German and English language level C1
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- High degree of initiative and scientific curiosity
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for international and interdisciplinary collaboration
