This scholarship is aimed at supporting prospective students who have displayed exceptional academic achievements, leadership and entrepreneurship capabilities and a zest for continuous learning.

Requirements for Wigwe University Merit-based Scholarship Qualification

Candidates must have chosen Wigwe University Isiokpo as their first choice and must score a minimum of 170 in the UTME.

Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.

Candidates whose O’Level results are being awaited are advised to upload same to JAMB as soon as the results are released.

Candidates who fail to upload their Results to JAMB will not be considered.

Candidates who did not choose Wigwe University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB Website and effect a change of their institution of first choice to Wigwe University before the close of the Change of Institution application process on the JAMB Portal.

1. Please visit the Wigwe University Portal to start your admission process: WU Portal (wigweuniversity.edu.ng)
2. After completing your application on the admission portal, proceed to the Scholarship page on the website and click on Apply Now
3. Successful candidates will be notified by the first week of September
4. Application ends on the 26th of August 2024.
