Zimbabwe Presidential and National Scholarship 2026/27

The Presidential and National Scholarships Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet invites applicants to register with the Department for Scholarship nominations for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The registration process targets disadvantaged and academically gifted students mainly from rural areas of the country's ten (10) Provinces, intending to pursue Undergraduate and Post-graduate studies at Foreign Universities in the following disciplines and subjects combination requisite:

• Agricultural Sciences (Horticulture, Agronomy, Aquaculture, etc.)
• Engineering (Electrical Power, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, etc.)
• Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Business Management & Administration (Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, etc.)
• Science and Technology (Robotics, Data Science, Geophysics, etc.)
• Social & Human Sciences (Law, Media, International Relations, etc.)
• Sports Science

Requirements for Zimbabwe Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

For the registration process, candidates should satisfy the following criteria:

• Undergraduates should have a minimum of ten (10) points at 'A' Level in subjects relevant to the chosen degree programme and be 25 years of age or below by 31 January 2027.
• Undergraduates for Science and Technology disciplines should have either A or B in a relevant 'A'Level Science subject.
• For Masters and PhDs, applicants must at least have an Upper Becond-Class Degree classification in the relevant field of study. Masters applicants should be below 35 years of age, and PhD applicants should be below 40 years of age by 31 January 2027.

Documents Required for Application

• COPY of bio-data page of a VALID PASSPORT OF PROOF OF AN APPLICATION for a passport,
• Application letter specifying the preferred Undergraduate or Post-graduate degree programme in the art of study of one's own choice. Give at least 5 suitable program choices.
• Motivation letter highlighting the applicant's background and justification on why one is worthy of being nominated
• Two reference letters, each from different persons or institutions
• Copies of CERTIFIED A Level and O' Level Results Slips or Certificates
• Copies of CERTIFIED Degree Certificates and Transcripts in the case of Masters and PhD. candidates and confirmation of results from respective Universites
• Copies of CERTIFIED Birth and LD. Certificates,
• A detailed Curriculum Vitae, which dearly shows the District of origin as shown on the Birth Certificate of National Identification Card and at least three functioning contact phone/cell numbers,
• Registration documents that meet the deadline-and above requirements are valid until 31 January 2027.

Applications submitted through third parties, agencies or any unauthorized Institution will not be accepted

Applications may be submitted through couler services or registered mail to the above address and the last day of sending mail Feb 27 of February 2026

Physical applications ans to be submitted in person from 23 February 2026 to 27 February 2026 during working hours at the following collection centers:

Applicants may choose any of the above mentioned submission methods and multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.

Do not be entertained try unauthorized Officials/persons at application collection centres or leave your documents without signing for them

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS 27 FEBRUARY 2028. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ARE TO BE ENTERTAINED.

Only those registered will be considered for any scholarship opportunities, and candidates should be prepared to accept Scholarship ofers from any prescribed country.
