The scholarship program provides its recipients with vast opportunities and education in the most prestigious Turkish universities, helping students gain new perspectives and have a unique educational experience during their study in Turkey.  

Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded, competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding students to pursue full-time or short-term program at the top universities in Turkey.

Türkiye Postgraduate Scholarships

Aim and Benefits of Türkiye Postgraduate Scholarships

1. University and program placement
2. Monthly Stipend:

   1. Master’s: 1,100 TL per month

   2. PhD: 1,600 TL per month

3. Tuition Fee

4. Once-off Return Flight Ticket

5. Health Insurance

6. Accomodation

7. One year Turkish Language Course

Length of award:

1. Master’s: 1 year Turkish Language course + 2 years

2. PhD: 1 year Turkish Language course + 4 years

Requirements for Türkiye Postgraduate Scholarships Qualification

Minimum Academic Criteria:

1. Minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctorate degree applicants: 75%

2. Minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) applicants: 90%

Age Criteria:

1. To be under the age of 30 for Master’s programs

2. To be under the age of 35 for Doctorate programs

 Eligible Groups:

1. Citizens of all countries

2. Graduates or applicants who are able to graduate at the end of the current academic year (before September 2019)

3. Researchers and academicians

How to Apply

Applications can only be made individually through the link below by the candidates. There are no institutions or persons authorized to apply for Türkiye Scholarships. 

1. Candidates are strongly advised to carefully read the instructions and warnings in the application system.

2. Applicants are required to submit and upload the necessary documents to the application system.

3. Applications delivered by post, courier, or by hand will not be accepted.

4. ?Applications are free of charge. Please do not entertain any third party institutions or persons who offer to make an application on behalf of you in exchange for a fee.

5. Türkiye Scholarships include both scholarship and university placement at the same time. Applicants will be placed in a university and program among their 12 preferences which they choose in the application system
