Monash University Australia 2022 Alex Raydon Scholarship for Refugee or Migrant Students

This scholarship is for students enrolling in postgraduate studies who are refugees or were born in a country other than Australia and have resided in Australia for 12 months or more.For the purposes of this scholarship, migrant is defined as a person who was born overseas whose usual residence is Australia. A person is regarded as a usual resident if they have been (or are expected to be) residing in Australia for a period of 12 months or more. In the scholarship application, applicants will be asked to make a self-declaration. Students who declare that they are a migrant as per the definition, will be deemed to have fulfilled this condition of the eligibility criteria

• $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of the degree.

Requirements for Monash University Masters Scholarship Qualification

• An Australian citizen
• A New Zealand citizen
• Australian permanent resident
• Australian humanitarian visa holder

 

Interview date, Process and Venue for Monash University Masters Scholarship

You must meet the following criteria:

• A commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enrol in a postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia
• From a refugee and/or migrant background*
• Experiencing low income.

• Applications for Year 12 students are open 1 August - 7 October 2022, submit a scholarship application through VTAC
• For current Monash students, applications are open 3 January - 16 February (12 noon) 2023 apply directly to Monash.
• This scholarship cannot be deferred.
