University of Klagenfurt Scholarship 2025 for Master’s Students

The Klagenfurt Scholarship provides 300 Euros a month to support outstanding Master’s students whose excellent progress so far promises further top achievements, both in their studies and in their professional careers. Carinthia’s capital city Klagenfurt provides 150 Euros per month to finance one half of the scholarship. Why not take over the second half and help to draw young talents (back) to Carinthia? You will get to know promising students and young professionals, establish close contacts with the university, and boost your corporate image.

The demand for ICT specialists on the Carinthian labour market is soaring. Consequently, the Klagenfurt Scholarship is mainly aimed at Master’s students from the fields of technology and business. As an Austrian lighthouse project, the scholarship primarily draws young talent (back) to Carinthia from other federal states for the purpose of pursuing a Master’s degree. You can choose to award your scholarship for a specific field of study.

Aim and Benefits of University of Klagenfurt Scholarship

Scholarship holder: EUR 300 per month for a period of two years

Requirements for University of Klagenfurt Scholarship Qualification

• Very good Bachelor degree (examination grades and Bachelor thesis)
• Non-university interests (e. g. social, cultural or sporting activities)
• 75 % of the scholarships are awarded to graduates with Bachelor degrees from technical and economic disciplines. This will boost the labour market in the ICT sector.
• Graduates with Bachelor degrees are also eligible for support if their track record to date indicates very good future career opportunities on the labour market.
